That means that each time someone lands on your page from Pinterest or from a Google search or from wherever else they might be coming from, they’ll immediately know that they’re on your blog and that your blog is one that they know, like, and trust.

Not only that, but if you have consistency across your entire internet presence from your Pinterest pins to your Instagram posts, people will know the second they see something of yours that it belongs to you and they’ll be more likely to click on it.

When it comes to the online business and blogging world today, trust and authenticity are by far some of the most important things for creating a community of raving fans. And one of the best ways to create that trust and authenticity is through branding.

By branding yourself, you get to know your message better. When you know your message and you’re able to communicate it with your audience, they’re more likely to trust you and become a committed reader because they know what you’re all about.

Because all you really have to do is ask yourself: does this fit my brand? How does it serve my mission? And suddenly you’re able to see whether something is worth doing or not.

If you’re hoping to take your blog full time one day or even just make a profitable side hustle out of it, looking professional is going to become important sooner rather than later.

This is especially the case if you’re hoping to work with brands or land sponsored posts because brands and companies look for blogs that look like they’re a serious and quality operation rather than ones that look all over the place.

So by branding your blog, you lay that foundation of professionalism that’ll have brands knocking at your door.
