Hey, I’m Addie

I design brands and websites for bloggers and creative entrepreneurs who are ready to leave their mark on the world.

I started my first blog when I was 13 years old and haven’t stopped writing or sharing my story in one form or another (oh hey there, Youtube channel I had for 2 years) since. In 2016, I started my travel blog, Addie Abroad, on a whim. Somewhere along the way I started to put real work into trying to grow it. But my blog’s graphics and website were a total disaster. Think hard-to-read text, impossible to navigate… the whole shebang. I knew that with a blog that looked and worked like mine did I was never going to get anywhere. But I had no idea what to do about it, so I just kept stumbling along.

It wasn’t until I stumbled across an online graphic design course that things started to click for me. As it turned out, the fundamentals of design theory can make a world of difference. Not only did my blog’s graphics and website improve, but I found a deep love for graphic and web design that I had no idea was there.

Now, it’s my turn to help my fellow bloggers and creative entrepreneurs do the same.

Let me tell you a secret: you’re never going to take your blog full-time if you don’t have good design.

You put your heart and soul into your blog and you KNOW you should be getting more out of it than you are. Maybe you want to be able to quit your job and travel full time with your blog supporting you. Maybe you just want to earn a few extra bucks on the side. Either way, you’re never going to succeed if you don’t have good design.

Because good design makes you look professional. And when you look professional, you are professional. It’s that simple.

So if…

  • You want to take your blog full-time but nobody takes you seriously when you tell them
  • Your logo is something you whipped up on Canva
  • You’re still using a free WordPress theme

Then it’s time to focus on your blog design.

Why should I pay money for this stuff when there’s free resources out there?

Honestly? Because free resources just don’t look as good. Besides, everyone is using them. Don’t you want to stand out from the crowd?

Why shouldn’t I hire someone from Fiverr?

When it comes to design, you get what you pay for. Cheap freelance websites like Fiverr generally result in unremarkable design. And I know you’re worth so much more than that.

I’m loving this! What should I do next?

Awesome! If you’re interested in custom branding + website design, head on over to my services page to look at the different packages I offer.
